Four Decades of Engineering

Milestones alongside Aomori Prefecture

Since the initial siting agreements in the 1980s, the Rokkasho complex has evolved into a comprehensive nuclear fuel cycle center. Working in close coordination with regional municipalities, JNFL has balanced precision engineering with deep respect for local communities.

Every phase of uranium enrichment, spent fuel reprocessing, and waste management is conducted under stringent safety protocols and continuous dialogue with Aomori stakeholders.
